In the third season of WPL Mumbai Indians won their second title, again facing the Delhi Capitals in the finals and defeating them by 8 runs. With this victory, MI became the first team to secure multiple WPL titles.
With the match-winning inning of 66 runs off 44 balls, Harmanpreet Kaur became the player of the match in the finals.
Nat Sciver-Brunt won the Player of the Tournament. After an outstanding season with 523 runs and 12 wickets for MI.

The second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) was won by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) under the captaincy of Smriti Mandhana. RCB also played against the Delhi Capitals in the finals and defeated them by 8 wickets.
Sophie Molineux received the Player of the Match title in the Women’s Premier League 2024 finals for her impactful bowling spell, which helped RCB lift the WPL title. And Deepti Sharma was named as the Player of the Tournament for her consistent and impactful performance in both batting and bowling throughout the season.

The first-ever season of Women’s Premier League (WPL) was won by the Mumbai Indians under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur. After defeating the Delhi Capitals in the finals by 7 wickets while chasing the target, MI became the first WPL champion.
With the unbeaten 60 runs off 55 bowls Nat Sciver-Brunt was titled player of the match and helped Mumbai Indians to chase the target to become the first Women’s Premier League title holder. And for her excellent all-round performance, scoring 271 runs and taking 16 wickets in the season, Hayley Matthews was crowned Player of the Tournament.

Orange Cap Winners in WPL
In WPL, the Orange Cap is awarded to the highest run scorer of a season. It is worn by the player who scores the most runs during all matches. If another player surpasses the run tally, the cap is passed on. At the end of the season, the player with the highest run total is named the Orange Cap holder.
